Responsibilities
- Prepare and review periodic financial statements for funds and related entities.
- Handle month-end close tasks for operating companies, reconcile intercompany balances, process expense recharges and prepare management fee invoices on a quarterly basis. Coordinate with external auditors for the year-end audit.
- Reconcile subscription receipts and capital call cash, and provide finance/operations support for new fund launches, including allocation of interests to incoming limited partners.
- Execute bank transfers for investment settlements and vendor payments. Work with fund administrators on matters such as investor reporting, capital call notices and distributions.
- Maintain a calendar of statutory deadlines and produce regulatory and tax submissions for funds and operating companies as required.
- Serve as a point of contact for investors' ad hoc information requests and provide timely responses.
- Participate in one-off initiatives such as account set-ups, company incorporations and other operational projects.
Requirements
- Minimum five years in accounting/finance roles focused on investment funds or fund administration.
- Backgrounds that include audit, fund administration or buy-side accounting are desirable. Professional accounting qualification is required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, adapt quickly and deliver accurate outcomes. Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving capability.
- Well-developed numerical and analytical skills; comfortable with reconciliations and financial analysis.
- Prior exposure to multi-jurisdictional fund structures (for example offshore jurisdictions) is advantageous.
- Proficient written and spoken English and Chinese.
