Drive procurement and cost analytics, including supplier benchmarking, cost trend analysis.
Conduct in-depth business and profitability analysis on trades, including P&L breakdowns, deal economics evaluation, margin tracking, and scenario modeling.
Monitor and manage key business risks such as commodity price exposure, hedge effectiveness, counterparty exposure.
Oversee daily trade flow operations, including cash flow planning, working capital monitoring, receivables/payables oversight, and funding requirement forecasting in coordination with internal teams.
Strengthen internal controls framework and continuous improvement of processes to ensure compliance and mitigate operational risks.
Prepare management reports and presentations; deliver clear updates and recommendations to traders, senior management, procurement, and other departments.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
CPA or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
Minimum 4 years of relevant finance experience, with at least 2 years gained directly in commodity trading, energy, metals, agriculture, or similar physical/derivatives environments.
Strong commercial mindset with proven skills in business analysis, risk assessment, and financial controlling in a trading context
Solid understanding of commodity markets, hedging instruments, price risk management, and basic trade finance/treasury concepts.
Advanced Excel skills, familiarity with ERP systems, Power BI, is a plus.
Good communicator - both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
