The Opportunity of Account Manager
As an Account Manager, you will act as the first point of contact for a panel of broker partners, driving new business generation while delivering a consistently high standard of service.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a target-driven environment and enjoys building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and converting them into revenue.
Key Responsibilities for Account Manager
- Proactively generate new business from an existing broker panel
- Maximise every interaction to identify additional sales opportunities
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads, progressing them through the pipeline
- Build strong, commercially focused broker relationships
- Collaborate closely with Key Account Managers to convert opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM records and report on pipeline performance
- Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity
- Ensure all activity aligns with regulatory and compliance requirements
About You
- Proven experience in mortgage sales or financial services
- Strong track record of telephone-based business development
- Highly commercial with a results-driven mindset
- Skilled at influencing and converting clients remotely
- Organised and comfortable managing a high volume of activity
- Experience working in a KPI-driven environment
- Knowledge of mortgage products and regulatory frameworks
