A well-established Galway-based Civil Engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join the team on a major new railway infrastructure project in Oranmore.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a landmark rail project in the west of Ireland, with a strong pipeline of additional civil engineering works secured for the next 2-4 years.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of the rail project, working closely with the site management team, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure works are completed safely, accurately, and to programme.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects in Ireland
- Strong setting out experience essential
- Experience working with subcontractors and coordinating site activities
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and site compliance
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Experience on rail, roads, utilities, or large civils projects advantageous
