Our client is a multinational investment bank with offices based in Dublin City Centre. As part of continued growth, they are seeking a highly skilled Vice President - Regulatory Reporting to join their Dublin finance team on a permanent basis. This is a regulated position responsible for supporting both internal and external regulatory reporting, with a primary focus on the Irish subsidiary of a major international bank.
The successful candidate will serve as the initial reviewer of all regulatory submissions and contribute to the preparation of key prudential reports. The role involves maintaining a strong control environment, driving continuous improvement, and engaging with both internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Reporting:
- Review and, as required, prepare internal and external regulatory returns
- Deliver high-quality prudential returns (Capital, Liquidity, Large Exposures, Asset Encumbrance, Leverage Ratio)
- Stay informed on changes in regulatory requirements and their impact on reporting processes
Oversight & Team Support:
- Provide coverage for the VP in their absence
- Mentor and support junior finance team members
Process Improvement & Controls:
- Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all reporting activities
Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise effectively with internal teams and external regulators
- Provide clear communication and reporting to senior management
Risk & Conduct Responsibilities:
- Monitor, identify, and escalate operational and conduct risks
Qualifications & Experience:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with circa 5+ years post-qualification experience
- Previous experience within financial services is essential
- In-depth understanding of FINREP and Irish statistical reporting is desirable
