Assistant Vice President - Transfer Agency (Dealing & Fund Setup)
12-Month Contract
Location: Dublin (Hybrid)
A leading global financial services institution is seeking an experienced Transfer Agency professional at AVP level to join its Operations function on a 12-month contract basis.
This role sits within the Transfer Agency team with a primary focus on Dealing Operations and Fund Setup. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of investor transactions, overseeing new fund and share class launches, and maintaining strong operational controls in line with regulatory and internal risk frameworks.
This position requires strong technical Transfer Agency knowledge, operational oversight capability, and the ability to manage stakeholders across multiple functions.
Oversee the daily processing of subscriptions, redemptions, switches, and transfers in line with fund documentation and cut-off times
Ensure adherence to SLAs, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
Act as escalation point for complex investor or distributor queries
Monitor dealing workflows to identify and mitigate operational risk
Support audit and regulatory requests relating to TA processes
Coordinate operational onboarding of new funds and share classes
Liaise with internal teams (Legal, Product, Custody, Fund Accounting, AML) to ensure smooth launch execution
Validate static data setup across TA systems
Manage change events including mergers, closures, restructures and distributor onboarding
Maintain strong oversight of TA controls and procedures
Ensure operational incidents are logged, investigated, and resolved appropriately
Contribute to KPI, KRI and management reporting
Participate in internal and external audit engagements
Act as senior escalation point within the TA team
Support coaching and development of junior team members
Drive process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
Engage effectively with Relationship Management and key clients where required
5+ years' experience within Transfer Agency Operations
Strong technical knowledge of Dealing processes and fund lifecycle events
Proven exposure to Fund Setup / Share Class launches
Solid understanding of regulatory requirements impacting Transfer Agency (e.g. UCITS / AIFMD environment)
Experience operating within a controlled, risk-aware framework
Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Previous experience operating at Senior Analyst or Assistant Manager level within a global financial institution is highly desirable.
