About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join a dynamic and forward-thinking procurement function based in Dublin. This position focuses on indirect procurement categories, particularly IT and Professional Services, and plays a pivotal role in managing strategic sourcing initiatives and delivering value across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement processes for indirect categories, primarily IT (hardware, software, services) and Professional Services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and align procurement strategies accordingly.
- Conduct market analysis, supplier evaluations, RFPs/RFIs, negotiations, and contract management.
- Drive cost savings, supplier performance, and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Maintain strong governance and compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement practices, tools, and processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, with a focus on indirect categories such as IT and Professional Services.
- Previous experience in the financial services industry is a distinct advantage.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication capabilities, with a proven ability to influence and engage at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of procurement tools/systems and best practices.
