Lead and enhance the firm's Operational Risk Management and Operational Resilience frameworks, ensuring compliance with Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) requirements and alignment with the Bank's global standards and risk appetite. This role is within banking and any applications must be from a Financial Services/Banking background.
Lead operational risk activities: risk assessments (RCSAs), scenario analysis, KRIs, exceptions, and new initiative reviews.
Oversee and challenge the firm's operational risk framework, including risk assessments, scenario analysis, KRIs, exceptions, and new initiatives.
Manage & lead the operational risk framework, ensuring effective risk identification, analysis, and review of key tools (RCSAs, scenarios, KRIs, exceptions, new initiatives)
Develop and present operational risk reports for senior committees and the regulator.
Act as secretary for the Operational Risk Committee.
Maintain and update policies, frameworks, and governance documents for operational risk and resilience.
Oversee and enhance the Operational Resilience framework in line with local regulation.
Collaborate with teams globally to align operational risk practices.
Provide 2LOD oversight and input into business risk management activities.
Stay current on emerging risks, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
Promote a strong risk culture, high performance, and inclusive work environment.
University degree in finance, engineering, or related field (Master's an advantage).
Solid risk management or capital markets experience within financial services/banking.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (CBI, operational risk best practices).
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and report-writing skills.
Experience with IBM OpenPages is a distinct advantage
