About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous Tax Analyst to join our US Tax Reporting team. This role will focus on 1099 and 1042s reporting, with responsibility for exception management, data reconciliations, and supporting the team with ad hoc reporting tasks. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical, as the data processed directly impacts regulatory filings with the IRS and our clients.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and resolve exceptions in 1099 and 1042s reporting data using bespoke reports and internal systems.

Reconcile multiple data sources to ensure accurate and complete reporting outputs.

Assist colleagues with general data-related and reporting tasks.

Support the team with ad hoc reconciliation, preparation, and reporting tasks as needed.
Person Specification

Practical experience reconciling large datasets.

Familiarity with securities operations.

Some US tax experience is desirable and will aid integration.

Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.

Solid understanding of financial markets and banking operations.

Confident interacting with peers and senior stakeholders.
