An opportunity has arisen to join the Investment Management Oversight team within a leading ManCo service provider based in Dublin. The role focuses on oversight of delegated investment managers, including supervision of fund performance and global distribution activity.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that delegated functions meet regulatory obligations, internal standards, and client expectations. The role includes managing, overseeing, and reporting on distribution activities, as well as supporting the Designated Person for Investment Management in day-to-day oversight of appointed investment managers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee delegated investment managers and distributors, including onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and maintaining a robust oversight framework.
- Act as (or support) the Designated Person for Investment Management and Distribution, ensuring compliance with CBI requirements.
- Coordinate and maintain an effective distribution oversight framework, including fund registrations, distribution monitoring, and escalation of complaints.
- Conduct regular oversight calls with investment managers and distributors and ensure adherence to regulatory and contractual obligations.
- Review and approve marketing materials to ensure regulatory compliance across all distribution jurisdictions.
- Prepare and present reports to Designated Person meetings and Board meetings, including ad hoc reporting as required.
- Support the annual product review process, ensuring timely delivery and clear communication with relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and update policies and procedures, maintain strong internal/external stakeholder relationships, and stay informed on regulatory and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level or holding a relevant professional qualification.
- Minimum 5+ years relevant experience in investment management oversight, product governance, or distribution oversight.
- Strong knowledge of international asset management, investor types, distribution channels, and competitor landscape.
- Technical expertise in investment products, including tracking error, fund performance analysis, ETFs, UCITS and AIF structures.
