About the Role
We are seeking an energetic, hands-on IT Support Technician to join our close-knit, 120-person site in North County Dublin.
If you are someone who prefers getting up from your desk, walking over to help colleagues in person, and taking real ownership of hardware and software troubleshooting, this role is for you. Working closely alongside our IT Manager, you will serve as the primary face of IT for our local operations-ensuring our team has the technical tools and support they need every day.
What You'll Do
- On-Foot End-User Support: Provide friendly, proactive 1st and 2nd line support directly to local staff-stepping away from the desk to set up workstations, troubleshoot screen/PC issues, and resolve everyday technical hiccups in person.
- Hardware & Device Management: Image, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot desktop/laptop systems, thermal label printers, barcode scanners, and peripheral equipment across our operational facilities.
- User & System Administration: Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, password resets, and permission updates within Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic network setups.
- Cross-Site Operational Support: Collaborate on technology rollouts and system updates supporting our network of facilities across Ireland.
- System Familiarization: Rapidly learn our internal logistics and operational software to become a key "go-to" technical resource on site.
What We Are Looking For
- Hands-On & Proactive Mindset: You enjoy direct human interaction, active troubleshooting, and being a visible, helpful presence around the facility.
- Technical Foundation: 0-2 years of experience in an IT Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or hands-on technical role (recent IT graduates with practical internship/project experience are encouraged to apply).
- Core Tech Knowledge: Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 applications, hardware assembly/setup, and basic networking principles (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, local printers).
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a clear, patient, and customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Mobility Requirements: A Full Driving License & access to a car are essential due to facility location and local transport access.
Location & Commute
Our primary hub is located in North County Dublin. This position is ideally suited for candidates residing in North Dublin, County Meath, or South Louth (e.g., Swords, Santry, Glasnevin, Ashbourne, Drogheda, Balbriggan, Finglas, or Navan) but you will need a car to get to site.

- Salary: €35,000 - €38,000 base salary per annum. DOE
- Annual Leave: 25 days (5 weeks) annual leave, scaling up to 30 days over tenure.
