Job Overview
Our client is seeking an AI-First Software Engineer to design, build, and ship intelligent capabilities across their cloud-native platform. This is not a traditional engineering role where you receive detailed specs and write code line by line. Instead, you will work in a small, cross-functional Innovation Pod (typically 3 to 4 people), owning delivery end-to-end, from problem discovery through production deployment. You will orchestrate AI agents that write the majority of your code, multiplying your throughput and focusing your efforts on high-level architecture and real-world problem-solving.

Core Tech Stack
- AI Developer Tools: Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, agentic coding frameworks, and AI-assisted testing and documentation workflows.
- Architectures & Systems: LLMs, agentic AI systems, RAG architectures, cloud-native platforms, API-first architectures, and enterprise ERP integrations.
Responsibilities
- Build and Ship Full-Stack Solutions: Own delivery end-to-end, working across the entire tech stack (front-end, back-end, APIs, data layers, and infrastructure) to ship continuous product increments.
- Orchestrate AI-Powered Development: Direct, prompt, and review AI coding agents to generate the majority of your code, targeting a 2x or greater velocity gain over traditional development.
- Seek Context and Define Solutions: Immerse yourself in the domain, collaborate with stakeholders, and design creative solutions without relying on traditional, rigid product requirements.
- Own Quality End-to-End: Take personal responsibility for testing, monitoring, and validation. Ensure the functionality you deliver works reliably without relying on a separate QA team.
- Deliver with Speed: Make pragmatic trade-offs between speed and scope to continuously deliver measurable value to customers.
Requirements
- 5+ Years of Engineering Experience: Proven track record of delivering full-stack, cloud-native solutions to production.
- AI-Native Builder: Hands-on experience using AI coding agents and tools (such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor) to accelerate development and maximize output.
- High-Agency Problem Solver: Self-sufficient and comfortable working with high autonomy, taking ownership of outcomes without waiting for direction.
- Full-Stack Versatility: Fluent across front-end, back-end, APIs, databases, and infrastructure, with the ability to adapt quickly to unfamiliar codebases.
- Quality-Minded: Personal accountability for the reliability and correctness of what you ship, integrating testing and monitoring into your regular workflow.
- Pragmatic and Fast: Accustomed to shipping new capabilities continuously and thinking in days, not weeks.
- Preferred Skills: Experience with enterprise resource management, logistics, or complex inventory operations; familiarity with ERP integrations; hands-on experience building with LLMs, RAG, or AI-assisted workflow automation.
