The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex, end-to-end ERP implementations (SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365) within mid-to-large enterprise environments, managing multi-disciplinary teams and third-party implementation partners.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Leadership: Take full ownership of the project lifecycle from initiation, charter creation, and vendor selection through to testing, cutover, go-live, and post-implementation support.
- Governance & Delivery: Establish robust project governance, reporting mechanisms, milestone tracking, and risk/issue management (RAID logs).
- Vendor & Partner Management: Direct and manage external systems integrators (SIs), software vendors, and third-party consultants to ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between executive sponsors, business units, finance, and technical IT teams to drive alignment and clear project roadblocks.
- Resource & Budget Planning: Oversee project financials, resource allocation, scope control, and change request procedures.
- Change Management Integration: Partner with business leadership to facilitate organizational change, business process re-engineering (BPR), and user training strategies.
Key Requirements & Experience
- Core ERP Expertise: Demonstrated experience running full-lifecycle implementation projects specifically in SAP (S/4HANA/ECC) or Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O / Business Central).
- Proven Track Record: At least 7+ years of experience in ERP or large-scale enterprise software project management roles.
- Contractor Mindset: Immediate ability to jump into an early-stage project, establish order, set up governance structures, and drive momentum.
- Methodologies: Strong background in structured project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or hybrid frameworks).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of translating technical requirements to business leaders and managing executive expectations.
Desirable Experience
- Background delivering ERP projects in Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Supply Chain, or FMCG sectors common to the Munster region.
- Direct experience handling data migration strategy, integration architectures, and cutover management for tier-1 ERP platforms.
