Role: Legal Counsel
Duration: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Dublin or Kilkenny | Hybrid working (Flex Fridays)
Our client is a world-class, global food and nutrition organization delivering annual revenues of circa €3 billion. They are seeking a commercial lawyer with 5+ years PQE to join their high-performing in-house legal team for a 12-month fixed term contract. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will manage risk and improve commercial terms across international operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Contracts: Review, draft, and negotiate day-to-day agreements
- Corporate & M&A: Lead corporate M&A work
- Litigation & Disputes: Progress Irish commercial litigation directly with barristers and manage external counsel for international disputes.
- Advisory & IP: Advise on contractual enforcement, joint ventures, and intellectual property matters.
- Projects & Support: Support business integration projects, update company policies, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years PQE with solid commercial law experience gained in a dynamic environment.
- Qualifications: Solicitor
- Skills: Strong drafting, negotiation, and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Desirable: Qualifications in IP or Commercial Contracts, and Commercial Litigation experience.
