Key Account Manager
Location: Leinster Area (based from Dublin)

Our client is seeking a Key Account Manager to drive business growth across Ireland. This is a customer-facing role responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and closing to account management. The ideal candidate is experienced in capital equipment or B2B sales, highly motivated, and thrives on building relationships with key accounts and independent customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business acquisition across Ireland, focusing on key accounts and independent retailers.
- Identify, research, and engage prospective B2B customers in target industries.
- Build and manage your sales pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship-building.
- Deliver compelling presentations and tailor solutions to meet customer needs.
- Manage the full sales-to-installation process, including order capture, pre-install coordination, and post-install follow-up.
- Use CRM tools to manage prospects, activities, and reporting.
- Monitor market and competitor activity and adjust sales strategy accordingly.
- Collaborate closely with the Managing Director and operations teams to meet growth targets.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven track record in B2B field sales, ideally in capital equipment, FMCG, or industrial solutions.
- Experience as a Key Account Manager or senior sales professional.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to present financials and business cases to clients.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and resilient with a consultative sales approach.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Analytical and structured, able to plan and manage a sales-focused week effectively.
- Fluent in English, with a full clean driving license and entitlement to work in Ireland.
