IT Asset Management and Employee Lifecycle - Contract Position
We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy IT professional to join our IT Asset Management
and Employee Lifecycle team. In this role, you will manage corporate laptops and accessories
throughout their lifecycle, while also providing support to end users.
As part of a team of problem solvers, you will address complex business challenges, from
strategy to execution. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
● Preparing and deploying IT equipment for new hires
● Hardware asset management
● Hardware refurbishment
● Asset disposal
● Desktop support
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization's laptops and
accessories are efficiently reconditioned, made available for use, disposed of, or resold, and
accessible to employees when needed.
This is a 6-month contract position, based in our Dublin HQ and will require in-office presence,
with a possibility of extension.
Job Description
● Laptop Refurbishment: Reformat, clean, and refurbish laptops in preparation for
hardware swaps for employees.
● Software Installation: Install and configure operating systems, hardware drivers, and
standard software applications on new or used laptops to ensure they are ready for
immediate use.
● User Support: Provide technical support to new and current employees in the office and
remotely to set up laptops and accessories, as well as resolve related incidents. Assist
with in-person services at the office, working alongside the helpdesk when necessary to
troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
● System Support: Work with asset managers and other IT teams to resolve incidents
related to tracking the location of laptops, in addition recovering replaced laptops from
employees.
● Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and quality checks on laptops to ensure
they meet the company's standards and are in good working condition.
● Inventory Management: Perform audits and maintain an organized inventory of hardware
assets, keeping track of quantities, models, and conditions of each unit. Ensure all asset
data are recorded and accounted for in service management systems.
● Asset Disposition: Work with the disposition vendor to recover laptops from employees
and ensure the stock in the office is securely shipped to the vendor when required.

Required Skills & Experience:
● Education:
○ Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or
equivalent experience).
● Experience:
○ 1-2 years of experience in IT asset management, workplace technology, or IT
support roles.
○ Familiarity with asset management tools and systems is a plus.
○ Experience with both Windows and macOS environments would be an
advantage
● Skills:
○ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
○ Basic knowledge of IT hardware (laptops, desktops, servers, etc.).
○ Proficiency with Microsoft or Google Office Suite (spreadsheet, document,
presentation, etc.).
○ Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
○ Good communication and interpersonal skills.
○ Good team work skills, ability to build positive relationships within and across
teams
● Physical Requirements:
○ Must be able to individually lift, move, and install computer equipment up to 10
kgs, and periodically up to 20 kgs with the assistance of others.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience working in IT or with IT asset management systems.
● Knowledge of MacOS and Apple endpoint hardware is an advantage.
● Understanding of hardware lifecycle processes.
● Familiarity with ServiceNow or other IT Service Management (ITSM) tools.
● ITIL qualification is desirable but not necessary.
