Data Engineer

My client is looking for a Data Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join their organisation based in Cork. This is a permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines
  
  
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for diverse data sources
  
  
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across platforms
  
  
• Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams
  
  
• Implement data models to support reporting and analytics
  
  
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data infrastructure

Key Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer
  
  
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
  
  
• Proficiency in Python and/or similar data-focused languages
  
  
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  
  
• Experience with data warehouses and big data technologies
  
  
• Solid understanding of data architecture and best practices
