Data Architect

My client is looking for a Data Architect with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join their organisation based in Cork. This is a permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise data architecture strategy
  
  
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient data platforms and models
  
  
• Lead data architecture decisions across analytics and engineering teams
  
  
• Establish data standards, governance, and best practices
  
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align data solutions with business goals
  
  
• Review and guide implementation of complex data solutions

Key Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture or senior data engineering roles
  
  
• Strong expertise in data modeling, warehousing, and integration patterns
  
  
• Deep experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  
  
• Hands-on knowledge of big data and streaming technologies
  
  
• Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance
  
  
• Excellent stakeholder management and technical leadership skills
