Our client, a well-established organisation in the hospitality sector, are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead and oversee their day-to-day finance operations.
This is a hands-on role, for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a varied environment and partnering with teams across the business to support operational and strategic success.
You will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, cashflow management, compliance, audit preparation, and team leadership, while also contributing to wider operational and strategic initiatives across the organisation.
With offices based in Dublin 14, they are operating with a hybrid working model (4 days onsite) and are offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day finance function and supervise financial processing activities across departments.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports to strict deadlines.
- Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly management information and KPI reporting.
- Manage cashflow, supplier payments, credit control, and capital expenditure.
- Ensure monthly balance sheet reconciliations are completed accurately.
- Manage VAT, PAYE, and other revenue compliance obligations.
- Lead audit preparation and liaise with external auditors throughout the audit process.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning activities.
- Provide financial analysis and insight to support operational decision-making.
- Manage and support finance team members, ensuring high standards and timely delivery.
- Attend leadership and finance committee meetings, presenting financial information where required.
- Support governance and general finance administration activities as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualified accountant with 8+ years' experience in a finance management role within a commercial environment.
- Proven experience preparing management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent commercial awareness and ability to support strategic decision-making.
- Advanced Excel and accounting systems experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
