Our client, a rapidly expanding SME within the pharmaceutical sector, is hiring an ambitious Finance Manager to join their team. This hands-on role requires a highly organised individual who is confident working independently with autonomy and as a team player. Strong knowledge of spreadsheets and other software packages is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Handling payment processing, invoice management, and maintaining accurate records and bank reconciliations.
- Submitting all Revenue and CRO returns, such as VAT payments, R&D Tax Credit, and both quarterly and annual company accounts. Collaborating with auditors during the preparation of audited accounts.
- Developing budgets, cost reports, cash flows, and financial projections.
- Managing monthly payroll for 8-10 employees and keeping well-organised personnel records.
- Completing and filing various company reports (RBO, SME Status, etc.) and surveys.
- Creating financial models, projections, and reports for external funders and investors.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA.
- Deep and confident knowledge of specialist financial/payroll software packages as well as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and, particularly, Excel to advanced level.
- Self motivated and strong attention to detail.
