Our client are a fast-growing international engineering and infrastructure services business who are looking for a Finance Business Partner to support its expanding Energy Division.
This newly created role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the division's finance function, partnering with senior leadership to drive commercial performance, support strategic growth, and play a key role in acquisitions and business integration.
With offices in Southwest Dublin, they are operating with a hybrid working model.
Please note: this role involves travel from Dublin to Monaghan approx. 2 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Directors and operational teams to provide commercial insight, challenge performance, and support strategic decision-making.
- Own the Energy Division's P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Deliver profitability analysis, KPI reporting, financial modelling, pricing support, and investment appraisals.
- Monitor project performance, working capital, and cash flow, identifying risks and opportunities to improve profitability.
- Lead finance integration of acquisitions, support M&A activity, and help implement a new ERP system.
- Ensure strong financial governance, statutory compliance, audit readiness, and robust financial controls across the division.
About You
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Proven experience in business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Experience within engineering, construction, infrastructure, utilities, energy, or other project-based industries is advantageous, as is exposure to acquisitions or ERP implementations.
