The Opportunity
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Employment Solicitor (2+ yrs PQE) to join the growing legal practice of a global professional services firm in Dublin. Operating in an environment where cross-border business transformation is constant, this role focuses on advising multinational clients on complex local and multi-jurisdictional employment matters. You will play a key role in helping corporate leaders manage risk, control costs, and execute large-scale global HR and restructuring projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Cross-Border Transformations: Advise on the employment law aspects of business reorganizations, international mobility, M&A transactions, and post-acquisition integrations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Core Employment Advice: Draft and review employment contracts, workplace policies, severance packages, and restrictive covenants while ensuring strict local regulatory compliance.
- HR Strategy & Risk Management: Partner with corporate clients to proactively identify HR hurdles, assess transformation feasibility, and design risk-mitigation strategies.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside global legal colleagues, HR advisors, project managers, and tax specialists to deliver cohesive, end-to-end workforce solutions.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Solicitor in Ireland
- 2+ years PQE in employment law gained within a respected law firm or established corporate legal department.
- Experience handling advisory and transactional employment matters (experience with cross-border projects or TUPE/restructuring is an advantage).
- Excellent project management and communication skills, with a focus on delivering fast, solution-oriented advice to international stakeholders.
