Client Relationship Manager (Fixed-Term Contract)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Client Relationship Manager to join a leading global asset servicing organisation on a fixed-term contract. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of institutional investment clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality client service, and acting as the primary relationship contact across a broad range of fund servicing activities.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal operational teams and senior client stakeholders to maintain strong relationships, resolve issues, support new business initiatives, and drive continuous service improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of institutional clients, acting as their primary relationship contact.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through regular meetings and service reviews.
- Coordinate and resolve client queries through to completion in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify opportunities to improve client service and enhance operational processes.
- Support the launch of new funds, products and additional services for existing clients.
- Attend and lead client governance and board meetings, coordinating input from internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all client documentation and operational records remain accurate and up to date.
- Liaise with internal operational teams to monitor service delivery and resolve outstanding issues.
- Keep senior management informed of key client developments, risks and service issues.
- Participate in local and international business improvement and strategic change initiatives.
- Develop strong relationships across multiple internal business functions to ensure exceptional client service delivery.
Key Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Client Relationship Management role within the funds or asset servicing industry.
- Experience managing institutional investment clients and leading client or board meetings.
- Strong working knowledge of one or more of the following:
- Fund Accounting
- Transfer Agency
- Custody
- Trustee Services
- Financial Reporting
- Good understanding of the regulatory environment affecting the investment funds industry.
- Experience supporting client onboarding, new fund launches or service enhancements.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree qualified or equivalent professional qualification.
- French language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
