Our client, one of the country's fastest growing financial advisory firms, are seeking an experienced and motivated Mortgage Advisor to join their award winning Mortgage team. You'll support a diverse range of clients, from first-time buyers and mortgage switchers to those with more complex financial circumstances, providing tailored advice throughout their mortgage journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert mortgage advice and recommend suitable mortgage solutions based on clients' circumstances.
- Conduct detailed financial assessments, including income, commitments and affordability.
- Manage the end-to-end mortgage process, from initial preparation and application through to lender engagement and completion.
- Liaise effectively with clients, lenders, internal teams and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth customer journey.
- Ensure applications are accurate, complete and compliant with relevant regulations and internal procedures.
- Develop new mortgage and protection business through referrals and self-generated opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and proactively manage the new business pipeline.
- Work with management to improve and streamline mortgage processes and practices.
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years' experience as a Mortgage Advisor/Broker.
- QFA qualification is essential.
- Strong track record of achieving targets and converting applications into completions.
- Excellent knowledge of the Irish mortgage regulatory environment.
- Proven ability to support customers proactively and reactively throughout the mortgage process.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical ability and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple applications and stakeholders effectively.
