Job Overview
We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join a high-impact Generative AI team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and supporting enterprise-grade applications that leverage emerging technologies to create process efficiencies and deliver significant business value. You will own complex technical components, collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Science and Product, and mentor junior engineers as you grow toward future leadership roles.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade applications using modern best practices.
- Take full ownership of technical components, ensuring long-term maintainability, quality, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with product, data science, and operations teams to deliver production-ready AI-driven solutions.
- Create effective automated tests and maintain high test coverage across all projects.
- Translate high-level requirements into small, testable, and releasable software components.
- Provide support for critical applications running in production, including troubleshooting and incident resolution.
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and inclusivity.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and proactively suggest system improvements.
Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years in software development with strong full-stack and DevOps skills.
- Core Languages: Proficiency in Python & Python packaging (pip, Poetry, virtual environments).
- Front-End: Strong experience with Front-End technologies, particularly React.js.
- Cloud & CI/CD: Proven experience with Azure Cloud and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
- Containerization: Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration.
- Backend & APIs: Experience with REST APIs, authentication/authorization frameworks, and database expertise (SQL, ORMs, Postgres, MySQL; relational and non-relational).
- Security: Solid understanding of software development security fundamentals.
- Preferred Experience: Knowledge of Azure AI services, Generative AI (LLMs), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and Linux administration/scripting (Bash).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
