Senior IAM Engineer

My client is looking for a Senior IAM Engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience to join their organisation based in Cork. This is a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable IAM architectures
  
  
• Proficient with at least 2 of the following: AD_Entra, PKI, PAM, SSO MFA, and IGA
  
  
• Integrate IAM solutions with cloud infrastructure and enterprise SaaS platforms
  
  
• Lead IAM roadmap development, vendor evaluations, and solution upgrades
  
  
• Automate workflows and build tools/scripts (Python, PowerShell, etc.) to streamline identity operations
  
  
• Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure IAM meets regulatory and audit standards (SOX, HIPAA, etc.)

Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IAM engineering or related security roles
  
  
• Expertise with identity protocols: SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM, LDAP
  
  
• Deep knowledge of SSO, MFA, and PAM technologies
  
  
• Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, PowerShell, or similar)
  
  
• Experience designing IAM solutions in cloud-first or hybrid environments
  
  
• Proven track record of leading IAM projects end-to-end
