Patient Liaison & Front of house Administrator
Be the person who makes every patient feel they are in the very best hands.
We're looking for an organised, professional and compassionate Patient Liaison & front of house Administrator to join our growing private healthcare clinic.
This is much more than a reception role. You'll be the first point of contact for patients, helping to create a calm, welcoming and seamless experience from their very first enquiry through to treatment and follow-up care. If you enjoy building relationships, thrive in a busy environment and take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
Every day is different. You'll work closely with consultants, clinical teams and healthcare professionals, playing a key role in ensuring our patients receive the outstanding service they deserve.
Please note: Access to your own transport is essential, as there are no suitable public transport links to the clinic.
What You'll Be Doing
As a valued member of our team, you'll:
- Welcome patients and visitors, ensuring every interaction is warm, professional and reassuring.
- Be the first point of contact for patients, GPs and healthcare professionals by phone, email and our patient portal.
- Coordinate appointments, consultations and procedures, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Register new patients and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Prepare clinic lists, patient documentation and correspondence for consultants and clinical teams.
- Process payments, invoices and other administrative tasks accurately.
- Liaise with hospitals and external healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
- Support consultants with secretarial and administrative duties.
- Help maintain efficient clinic operations while delivering an exceptional patient experience.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with GDPR and healthcare regulations at all times.
About You
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering outstanding service.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in reception, administration or customer service (healthcare experience is an advantage but not essential).
- Excellent communication skills and a confident, friendly telephone manner.
- Outstanding organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
- A professional, compassionate and patient-focused approach.
- The ability to work independently while also being a supportive team member.
- Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
If you're passionate about providing exceptional service and want to play an important role in delivering an outstanding patient experience, we'd love to hear from you.
