Newly Qualified Accountant - Practice

Morgan McKinley is partnering with a well-established accounting practice in Cork to recruit a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their dynamic Finance team. The role offers excellent exposure to a variety clients and career development opportunities.

While the primary focus is on newly qualified candidates, the client is also open to speaking with candidates who are close to qualifying, making this a great opportunity for ambitious accountants looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients
• Managing VAT & Tax returns
• Preparation of monthly accounts
• Year-end accounts
• Audit review
• Review and analysis of budgets
• Handling queries from various stakeholders
• Ad hoc duties as required

Skills & Qualifications:

• Newly-Qualified Accountant or a Part-Qualified Accountant
• Minimum 2 years' experience in an Irish Accounting Practice
• Experience with accounting software and strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
