Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in Cork that offers a 4-day work week and excellent work-life balance? My client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their business in a varied role.
This position combines Accounts Payable and Receivable responsibilities with office management and administrative support, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth financial and day-to-day operation of the office.
This role is fully onsite for the 4 days and based in Cork City.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and oversee financial data, reporting, and compliance with legal requirements
- Prepare and process invoices, client receipts, and payments
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and submit CSO returns
- Prepare and file VAT returns with Revenue
- Cash management and liaising with banks
- Support external auditors during year-end processes
- Assist with invoicing and order processing, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Ensure efficient day-to-day office operations, including scheduling and meeting coordination
- Manage office supplies and inventory and some adhoc duties.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounting or finance role
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
