Financial Accountant

Morgan McKinley is partnering with a well known global organisation with a high performing Shared Service Center in Cork, to hire a fully qualified Accountant. This role will look after financial accounting and compliance for a portfolio of legal entities.

Responsibilities include:

• End-to-end accounting and preparation of high-quality financial statements for assigned regional entities in compliance with US GAAP and local regulations.
• Act as a point of contact for external auditors and assist in coordinating annual statutory cycles.
• Ensure timely monthly and quarterly close processes.
• Maintain a strong internal processes and procedures.

This role is best suited to:

• Someone who is open to a contract role for an initial 12 month period.
• A fully qualified accounting qualification.
• Someone with 1-2 years post qualification experience.
• Someone with a short notice period or is immediately available.
