Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage core finance operations, ensuring effective financial management and the smooth execution of day-to-day financial activities.
- Develop and mentor team members to reach their full potential and maintain efficient and effective financial operations.
- Take ownership of the accurate and timely completion of month-end management accounts for one group subsidiary.
- Monitor financial performance by analysing results, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Act as a Finance Business Partner to key stakeholders, providing insights on financial performance and advising on strategic decisions to drive business growth.
- Strengthen internal controls and continuously improve financial processes to support a high-performance business environment.
Key Requirements:
- Professionally qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA) with minimum 3 years PQE.
- Experience in a financial management role, ideally within a growing business environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and the use of financial management systems.
- Commercially aware, with the ability to connect financial insights to broader business strategies.
- Effective communicator, capable of building strong relationships and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and solving problems.
