Data Analyst - Contract

My client is looking for a Data Analyst with 3+ years' experience to join their Cork-based team. This is a 12 month Contract role where your insights will directly drive business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse complex datasets to uncover trends, opportunities, and insights that influence strategic business outcomes.

• Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, turning raw data into actionable intelligence.

• Collaborate with business teams to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements that align with company goals.

• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and governance across all reporting and analytics processes.

• Translate data into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders, supporting decision-making at all levels.

• Work with data engineers to streamline data pipelines and improve reporting efficiency.

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, with 3+ years in data analysis or business intelligence.

• Expert in SQL and experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, and automation of reporting tasks.

• Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and ETL processes.

• Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex data for business stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about turning data into business impact.
