About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and reliable Field Agent to support the successful delivery of the Re-turn Programme across the Cork and Munster region.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, building relationships with retailers, and being out in the field. The successful candidate will act as a key representative of the organisation, providing support, guidance, and operational assistance to retailers and collection partners while ensuring programme standards are maintained.
Please note: Applicants must be based in the Cork area and be willing to travel throughout Munster. Applications from candidates outside this region cannot be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit retailers, collection points and partner locations to ensure compliance with Re-turn processes and operational standards.
- Provide training, guidance and ongoing support to retailers on system usage and best practice.
- Monitor site performance and identify operational issues or equipment concerns.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with retailers, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Complete accurate field reports and update internal systems promptly.
- Escalate operational issues to the relevant internal teams where required.
- Support regional rollout projects, including Bulk Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) launches and other operational initiatives.
- Represent the organisation professionally and deliver a high standard of customer support at all times.
About You
We're looking for someone who is proactive, organised and enjoys working autonomously while delivering excellent customer service.
You'll ideally have:
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to manage your own schedule and work independently across a regional territory.
- Previous experience in field operations, retail support, customer service or compliance (preferred but not essential).
- A practical, solution-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Confidence using mobile applications, reporting systems and basic digital tools.
- A full, clean driving licence and flexibility to travel throughout the Munster region.
