Key Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and support the Accounts Receivable team to achieve departmental goals and maintain high performance standards
Manage day-to-day operations including workload allocation, team meetings, and performance reviews
Oversee and review bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial transactions
Manage customer accounts, review credit applications, and ensure timely follow-up on overdue balances
Analyse aged debtor reports, identify trends, and implement improvements to enhance cash flow and process efficiency
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, providing clear communication and resolution of escalated issues
Develop and enforce AR policies and best practices
Provide training, feedback, and coaching to team members to support professional growth and capability development
Skills and Experience Required:
Proven experience leading or supervising a finance or AR team
Strong understanding of accounts receivable and credit management principles
Excellent communication, leadership, and people management skills
Strong Excel proficiency; experience with ERP systems advantageous
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Collaborative approach with the ability to influence and engage across teams
