    Overview

    I am partnering with a construction material manufacturing company based in Shannon who are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to support their sales and manufacturing operations in Shannon. This role is key to ensuring accurate order processing, effective coordination between sales and production, and excellent customer service within a busy manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Process customer orders from initial enquiry through to production and dispatch
    • Prepare and issue quotations, sales orders, and order confirmations
    • Act as a key link between sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure orders are fulfilled on time
    • Maintain accurate customer, product, and pricing data within internal systems
    • Monitor order progress and proactively communicate updates to customers
    • Coordinate delivery schedules in line with production timelines and customer requirements
    • Handle customer queries regarding products, specifications, lead times, and availability
    • Generate reports and analyse sales and production data using Microsoft Excel
    • Assist with invoicing, documentation, and general administrative duties
    • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and quality standards

    Key Requirements

    • Previous experience in a sales administration or sales administration
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly:
      • Excel (reporting, data analysis, and order tracking)
      • Word (documentation and communication)
      • Outlook and general Office systems
    • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
    • Strong attention to detail, especially when handling orders and specifications
    • Good communication skills with the ability to liaise across multiple departments
    • Customer-focused with a professional and problem-solving approach
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production-driven environment

    Desirable Skills & Experience

    • Experience working with ERP or MRP systems
    • Understanding of manufacturing processes or production scheduling
    • Knowledge of building materials or construction products
    • Experience coordinating logistics or delivery planning
