Financial Accountant

Morgan McKinley are proud to be parterning with a leading multinational organisation who are entering an exciting phase of significant growth through both acquisition and organic expansion. As a result, they are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their expanding finance team.

As a key member of the Group Finance function, the successful candidate will support the maintenance and ongoing development of financial and cost accounting systems across the business. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders both locally and across multiple subsidiary entities, providing strong exposure to a dynamic, international group environment.

Key duties

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts

• Produce financial statements, variance analysis and performance reports

• Analyse financial results and provide insights and recommendations to management

• Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts

• Monitor budget performance and investigate variances

• Support departments with cost control and financial planning

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal policies

• Assist with internal and external audits

• Maintain strong internal controls and financial procedures

• Fixed asset reporting and reconciliation

• Stock reporting and reconciliation

• Conduct cost analysis and profitability reviews

• Monitor KPIs and key financial metrics

• Support pricing, investment and cost-reduction initiatives

• Reconcile intercompany balances across group entities

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Qualified Accountant

• Minimum of 4 years' industry experience

• Strong IT and systems experience

• Strong commercial acumen and high attention to detail
