Job Description

Fantastic opportunity for a dynamic Accounts Administrator/Assistant to work within the Finance department of a reputable logistics company on a fixed-term contract basis

In this role, you will oversee the organization, upgrading, and management of accounts, reporting directly to the Financial Accountant.

  • 6 month fixed-term contract
    • Hybrid (2 days working from home)
    • Salary range: €30,000 - €40,000
    • Flexible start times (standard hours 9am-5:30pm)

Responsibilities will include:

  • Processing supplier invoices and credit notes on a daily basis.
  • Reconciling monthly supplier statements to the accounts package and investigating discrepancies on the creditor ledger.
  • Using system workflows to authorize invoices for payment and resolving queries with relevant departments.
  • Assisting the team in processing and inputting authorized supplier costs into the Transport Management System.
  • Handling the processing of POs upon request from specific suppliers.
  • Ensuring payment deadlines are met by liaising with customers.
  • Preparing and delivering monthly/weekly customer statements.
  • Investigating discrepancies on the debtor ledger and reconciling accounts package with relevant personnel.
  • Maintaining the Finance group inbox, company files, and documentation in accordance with company policy.
  • Undertaking general administration duties and providing support to other team members when needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator Assistant with a minimum of 2/3 years in accounts admin or other AR/AP roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Effective time management skills to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
