Support and enforce compliance with local, national, and corporate EHS regulations and policies (e.g EPA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and EHS audits.
Develop and deliver safety training programs and toolbox talks for staff and contractors.
Lead or support root cause analysis for incidents, near misses, and non-conformances; implement corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with site and departmental leadership to foster a proactive EHS culture.
Monitor and report on key EHS metrics and KPIs; identify trends and recommend improvements.
Ensure all documentation, permits, and registers are up to date and accessible.
Manage hazardous waste disposal, emergency preparedness, and chemical safety compliance.
Act as a key contact for EHS-related inspections and liaise with regulatory bodies where required.
Stay current on EHS legislation, best practices, and technological advancements.
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline.
5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, or industrial environment.
