We are partnering with an established and growing professional services firm based in Dundalk who are looking to hire an experienced Tax Manager to join its expanding Tax team.
The firm provides a broad range of accounting, tax, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of Irish and international businesses, owner-managed companies, and private clients. With a strong focus on client relationships, technical excellence, and long-term development, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to take on a leadership role within a supportive and ambitious practice.
Reporting directly to the Tax Director, you will play a key role in managing a varied portfolio of clients and delivering a broad range of Irish tax services.
This is a hands-on role offering excellent exposure across Corporation Tax, Income Tax, VAT, tax compliance and advisory, as well as the opportunity to work on more complex areas including shareholder planning, business exits, CGT/CAT structuring, and cross-border tax matters.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse client portfolio, delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services.
- Oversee Corporation Tax, Income Tax and VAT compliance, including Revenue queries, audits, and interventions.
- Provide practical, commercially focused tax advice across areas including CGT/CAT, shareholder planning, business exits and cross-border matters.
- Manage workflow, deadlines, and resources across multiple client engagements.
- Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted tax adviser.
- Support business development, proposals, and the continued growth of the Tax service.
Requirements:
- CTA qualified with 2-3+ years' post-qualification experience.
- Strong knowledge of Irish tax legislation and compliance.
- Previous Assistant Manager or Manager experience within an Irish practice is highly desirable.
- Strong client management, communication, and organisational skills.
- Commercially minded, proactive and solutions focused.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
