Morgan McKinley is delighted to be partnering with a leading international FMCG organisation to recruit an experienced Supply Planner to join their team.
Based in Louth, this is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing global supply chain function where you will play a key role in ensuring product availability across international markets while balancing inventory, service levels and operational efficiency. This role is ideal for an analytical supply planning professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced international environment and influencing stakeholders across the wider business.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain supply plans to support customer demand while balancing inventory and service level objectives.
- Manage planning activities using SAP IBP. Monitor inventory performance, safety stock levels and replenishment strategies to optimise working capital.
- Manage the purchase order lifecycle, ensuring supply plans remain accurate and aligned with manufacturing capacity.
- Identify potential supply constraints, material shortages and logistics risks, implementing mitigation plans where required.
- Work closely with Demand Planning to understand forecast changes and new product introductions.
- Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to align production schedules with regional supply requirements.
- Lead regular stock review meetings and provide recommendations to improve inventory health and supply performance.
- Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, improve planning accuracy and drive continuous process improvements.
- Support new product launches, product transitions and end-of-life planning activities.
Key Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in a similar end-to-end planning position within FMCG or manufacturing.
- Experience managing finished goods supply across multiple markets with a strong understanding of inventory management, replenishment planning and supply planning principles.
- SAP experience is essential.
- A proactive approach to problem solving with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
