Morgan McKinley is delighted to be partnering with a long-established and growing company in the logistics and distribution sector. Our client is seeking an experienced Exports & Transport Coordinator to join their expanding export and sales support function.
This is an excellent opportunity for a capable, detail-oriented professional to take ownership of end-to-end international logistics processes in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Reporting to the Exports Lead, you will be responsible for managing freight and documentation for international shipments - from the initial order right through to delivery and final customer confirmation. Acting as the main point of contact for transport coordination, export documentation, and customer queries, you will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service.
Full order processing: entry, tracking, dispatch, and delivery.
Booking collections and deliveries with hauliers and freight forwarders.
Preparing and managing international shipping documentation and customs requirements.
Responding to customer queries promptly and professionally.
Liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth order flow and fulfilment.
Maintaining trackers and updating key stakeholders on delivery schedules.
Supporting accounts by monitoring and ensuring payment terms are met.
Identifying and contributing to process improvements within logistics and transport operations.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a coordination role, ideally in logistics or transport.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume workflows.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach.
