Morgan McKinley has partnered with a leading company in their field to recruit a part-qualified or newly qualified Accountant.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role will play a key part in managing the day-to-day finance function and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Responsibilities will include maintaining the general ledger, completing reconciliations, and preparing statutory submissions such as VAT, Intrastat, and VIES returns to the Revenue Commissioners.
The successful candidate will work closely with external auditors during the year-end audit process and annual stocktake, proactively investigate variances or anomalies, and escalate findings to management as required. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive financial accuracy and operational efficiency, while supporting additional accounting tasks and ad-hoc projects as assigned by management.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Part-qualified or recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CPA), ideally with 1-2 years' post-qualification experience in an accounting or finance role.
A strong desire to learn and grow professionally within the organisation.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and technically competent.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong organisational and time-management abilities.
