Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Administrator to manage and support the day-to-day administrative operations for a client we are working with. The ideal candidate will work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics teams to ensure efficient inventory management, accurate record-keeping, and smooth operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies. Update and track stock entries in warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Order Processing: Assist with the processing of incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring that all shipping documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Data Entry: Input and update information related to shipments, deliveries, and inventory in relevant systems. Ensure all data is accurate and entered in a timely manner.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports on stock levels, order fulfillment, and other key performance indicators (KPIs). Assist in generating regular and ad-hoc reports as requested.
- Coordinate Deliveries & Shipments: Support coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, liaising with transport companies and ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between warehouse teams, procurement, and customer service to resolve issues, track shipments, and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to warehouse safety procedures and compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of safety checks and equipment maintenance.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the warehouse manager, including scheduling, filing, and maintaining an organized office space.
- Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to shipments, inventory counts, or order processing. Communicate issues to the appropriate team for resolution.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse administration, logistics, or supply chain management preferred.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other data entry software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
