    Our client, an established public sector body is seeking a Tax Analyst to support its expanding tax function.

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, purpose-driven organisation involved in large-scale land and property stamp duty development projects.

    With offices based in Dublin 2, they are operating with a hybrid working model and offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

    The Role

    Reporting into senior finance leadership, the Tax Analyst will support all areas of taxation, with a particular focus on Irish corporation tax, VAT and property-related taxes (including stamp duty, LPT and RCT). The role involves close collaboration with internal finance, legal and development teams, as well as external tax advisors, to ensure ongoing compliance and tax efficiency across a growing portfolio of activities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Preparation, review and timely filing of direct and indirect tax returns
    • Tax advisory support for property acquisitions, disposals and development projects
    • Providing tax guidance to internal business units
    • Supporting audits and maintaining robust tax records and documentation
    • Contributing to tax process improvements and automation initiatives
    • Liaising with external advisors to ensure compliance with Irish tax legislation

    Minimum Requirements:

    • CTA qualified (or ACA/ACCA or similar)
    • 1-2 years PQE
    • Real estate exposure would be a nice to have
    • Strong knowledge of Irish tax legislation, particularly VAT
    • Experience with property-related taxes (corporation tax, stamp duty, RCT, capital allowances) is an advantage
    • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with tax/accounting systems
    • Comfortable working independently while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams
