API Integration Specialist
Fully remote daily rate contract
We're looking for an API Integration Specialist to support the delivery and ongoing management of integrations for enterprise customers and technology partners.
This role will involve working closely with external partners and internal Engineering, Product and Client Services teams to ensure seamless data integrations and troubleshoot technical issues.
Key Responsibilities

Support the implementation and deployment of API and XML feed integrations with external partners.

Work with partners throughout the integration lifecycle, from initial discovery and testing through to go-live.

Investigate and troubleshoot integration issues, collaborating with Engineering and Product teams to resolve them.

Monitor integration performance, identify issues and recommend improvements.

Maintain technical documentation and support partners in following integration best practices.

Ensure timely responses to partner queries and provide a high standard of technical support.

Identify opportunities to improve integration processes, performance and the overall customer experience.
Requirements

2+ years' hands-on experience building, implementing or supporting API integrations.

Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, OAuth, XML, JSON and/or GraphQL.

Experience working with SQL, Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Nice to Have
-
Basic programming or scripting knowledge, particularly Python or JavaScript.

Experience with project management or coordinating technical integrations.
