Senior Tax Accountant

Our client, an established and growing facilities management group is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to take ownership of the company's tax compliance and reporting across Ireland and the UK.
This is a key role within the finance function, offering the opportunity to influence strategy and support corporate governance across a dynamic, multi-entity business.
With offices based in North Dublin, they are operating with a hybrid working model and offering a competitive salary and bonus.
In this role you will manage the group's full spectrum of tax obligations-including VAT, Corporation Tax, RTC, CIS, and payroll taxes-ensuring accurate, timely submissions and strong compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end tax compliance for Ireland and the UK.
- Prepare and file VAT, Corporation Tax, and payroll tax returns.
- Manage RTC and CIS administration for subcontractors.
- Lead responses to audits and liaise with Revenue and HMRC.
- Monitor tax legislation and advise management on business impact.
- Support financial reporting, policy development, and risk management.
- Provide strategic input on supplier location, transfer pricing, and intercompany arrangements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) and Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) - essential.
- 2+ years' post-qualification experience in tax accounting, ideally with cross-border exposure.
- Strong technical knowledge of Irish and UK tax frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within facilities management, construction, or subcontractor-heavy sectors is an advantage.
