Morgan McKinley is delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing health group to recruit a Senior Supply Chain Manager to join their team in Dublin.
Taking ownership of the end-to-end supply chain function, the Senior Supply Chain Manager will have the opportunity to shape and drive the strategy, strengthen supplier and logistics partnerships, build and develop a high-performing team, and introduce smarter systems and more effective ways of working.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Own the end-to-end relationship with the key CMO, ensuring continuity of supply, production planning, quality, service levels and commercial performance.
- Develop strong strategic partnerships with the CMO and wider supplier base, driving accountability, performance and continuous improvement.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing reviews and commercial agreements with manufacturing and supply partners.
- Identify and mitigate supply risks, ensuring sufficient capacity, lead times and contingency planning to support business growth.
- Own demand planning, forecasting and S&OP, improving visibility of future requirements and aligning supply with commercial demand.
- Optimise inventory levels, balancing product availability, customer service, working capital and the risk of excess or obsolete stock.
- Establish robust planning processes and reporting to improve forecast accuracy and supply chain decision-making.
- Manage supplier performance through clear KPIs, regular reviews and structured improvement plans.
- Lead 3PL, warehousing and freight relationships, ensuring service, cost and operational performance remain aligned with business requirements.
- Develop executive-level supply chain reporting covering forecast accuracy, inventory, supplier performance, service, cost and supply risk.
- Lead and develop the customer service and supply chain team, creating clear accountability and a continuous improvement culture.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years in a senior supply chain position with a proven track record across demand planning, forecasting, S&OP and inventory management.
- Commercial experience encompassing supplier negotiations, contracts, logistics costs and operational efficiency.
- Experience within FMCG, healthcare, consumer health, pharmaceutical, medical devices, retail or another regulated consumer environment.
