We're working with a high-growth, US-headquartered technology company with a strong international footprint.
They are looking to hire an immediately available, qualified accounting professional to support international finance operations and a range of global projects.
This will initially be a temporary 6 month contract, offering a competitive salary and flexible working.
With offices based in South Dublin, they are operating with a hybrid working model (2/3 days onsite)
This is a broad, hands-on role offering excellent exposure to international accounting, systems, and cross-functional stakeholders. You'll work closely with Tax, Treasury, and local service providers while supporting global finance initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Tax and Treasury, to ensure full alignment on project milestones
- Perform UAT testing to ensure financial systems are operating as designed
- Assist with intercompany reconciliations across 30+ international entities
- Partner with Treasury to settle aged intercompany balances
- Ensure all US GAAP to statutory accounting entries are fully documented and compliant
- Coordinate with local service providers to meet country-specific statutory requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve international finance processes
- Support ad-hoc projects as they arise in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent)
- 3-5 years' post-qualification experience in a relevant role
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local statutory accounting, including GAAP to IFRS/local GAAP conversions
- Essential: hands-on experience with SAP ERP
- Prior experience in a multinational or global environment (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
