Senior Software Engineer (.NET / React) - Daily Rate Contract
📍 Dublin| Hybrid
We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a growing analytics technology team, building customer-facing applications that support data-driven decision making. This is a hands-on role where you'll have the opportunity to lead delivery, mentor developers and help shape technical direction within a modern cloud-based environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Building and maintaining web applications using React, TypeScript and C#
- Developing APIs and backend services for both application-specific and shared platform use
- Collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Scrum teams to deliver new features
- Contributing to solution design, architecture and technical decision-making
- Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and release automation processes
- Supporting production applications, troubleshooting issues and delivering fixes
- Promoting engineering best practices through code reviews, automation and agile delivery standards
- Mentoring junior developers and sharing knowledge across the team
- Working closely with QA to ensure high-quality software delivery
What they're looking for:
- 5+ years' experience in software development
- Strong C#/.NET development experience
- Strong frontend experience with React and TypeScript
- Experience building and consuming APIs
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Passion for software engineering and modern development practices
Nice to have:
- Experience with AWS and cloud-native development
- Exposure to serverless architectures
- CI/CD and DevOps experience
- Experience working with data-intensive or analytics-focused applications
