Our patented Java-based platform processes billions of transactions per month in tens of milliseconds using a multi-tiered, message-oriented approach for high performance and availability.
Overview:
Quality Engineering is about creating an ecosystem where all delivery teams can achieve time-to-market, quality excellence, and higher customer satisfaction within all verticals including core, emerging payments, and value-added services. Unlike similar quality/testing roles in other organizations, Quality Engineering positions require a firm knowledge and hands on software development skills on par with software developers to work closely them to build test automation, test infrastructure, and perform code analysis/review to enable development quality. This position will be responsible for driving Quality Engineering best practices within teams to deliver applications and solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders, including consumers, merchants, issuers and governments.

Role

1. Design, develop, enhance, and maintain software applications and services.

4. Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and test infrastructure to ensure software quality.
5. Partner with engineers to improve development, testing, deployment, and release processes.
6. Perform code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards, performance, security, and reliability.
7. Design and implement acceptance, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.
8. Drive continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.

All About You
Essential Skills and Experience:
1. Strong software development experience using Java.
2. Experience developing and consuming Java, Selenium WebDriver, RESTful services/Rest Assured, JSON and XML
3. Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
4. Experience with Unit test frameworks such as Junit/Mockito.
5. Experience building automated tests using Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured, TestNG, or Spock.
6. Hands-on experience with GIT and modern source control practices.
7. Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
8. Experience integrating testing and code quality tools such as SonarQube and code coverage frameworks.
9. Experience in cloud-based applications.
10. Knowledge of distributed systems and in-memory data technologies such as Pivotal GemFire.
11. Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as Oracle.
12. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
13. Ability to design systems with a focus on reliability, scalability, performance, and testability.
14. Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex technical issues.
15. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams."
